Do you guys see any issues with removing your barreled action from the stock for cleaning etc.? Seems if you re-install with uniform torque values on the action screws, there should be no issues. With a bedded action there should be a limited POI shift as well. Any thoughts?

always remove the barrel after cleaning or a few months to make sure that there is no solvent under the action between it and the bedding there is nothing worse that a bedded action floating around on solvent. No problems at all if it is or is not bedded a good job should be fine. you don't need to remove it every time you clean it but gust be careful when you are placing it into the bedding to make sure you don't damage it.

The rifle I'm refering to is the one in my signature. I custom glassed the comb and it is next to impossible to get a rod straight down the action with it in the stock.
I'm getting ready to bed it and thought about solvent issues over time.
I don't clean every time I shoot, just when I see accuracy degrading.

It may take a few rounds through it to settle down into the bedding. I know...all the precisionists state that if done correctly, that won't happen. Shoot a few then retorque the screws. JMHO
