Gunsmithing Repillar an A5?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever replaced the pillars in an a5 mcmillan?

Fixing to start collecting parts to bring you my 308 after the first of the year. Wanting to swap it over to detatchable magazine. It may not need new pillars, just wondering in case it did. On a side note, that 300wsm shoots awesome.
