Not sure if this is the right thread but ive had the bolt stolen for my t3 tikka (was in my hunting bag that was stolen the other day) is it possible to have a gunsmith make one up? i have spoken to the hunting shop i purchased the rifle from but they said tikka wont supply a replacement bolt. Anu help would be much appreciated.

I would have it headspaced to be sure it is safe to shoot

tikka bolt at Brownells

That will take you directly to Brownell's website, Tikka replacement parts, with the bolts at the top of the page.

You *should* have it checked for headspace to make sure it's safe, someone may let you borrow a GO/NO-GO set for the caliber but it's about a 30s check at a gunshop (including time for the guy to dig the gauges out of the drawer). I can't imagine the cost would be more than a cup of coffee.
