Gunsmithing Replacement trigger info for new 700 SPS Varmint

I'd like to swap out the new X pro trigger that came w/ my new sps 308. What parts do I need to buy from Brownell's to swap it out? Anyone else done it?

Nothing wrong with the original; if you need to change it, go with a Shilen.

You can pick from a variety of aftermarket triggers, make sure you get one with a safety on it, as the X-Mark safety will not swap like the old style safeties. I personally like Timney, but there are many good choices out there.

Old style Factory Remington trigger.

Will the old trigger fit? Just the trigger, not entire assembly

No, you will need the entire assembly to include the safety and bolt release.

If you want to go aftermarket, the Timney 510 comes with everything you need and drops right in.

+1 on the Timney. Put two in LTR's. Big difference compared with the stock X-mark trigger
