I would like to replace the two piece aluminum bottom metal on my Model 70 long action with a steal version. Is there such a thing available?
Thanks for your time.

not 100% on this but give ptg a try. they are top notch parts and priced reasonably. Good luck

I went with PTG. If you get a williams make sure they are in stock, otherwise you will be waiting a long time......

I have a Williams on mine and I highly suggest them. Very well made and at a resonable price. Go direct from them.

In 1974 I bought a Model 70 in 375. I wanted a steel floor plate because I eventually wanted to get it engraved.

I seem to remember (that's questionable) that the African or 458 Version of the Model 70 came with a steel floor plate and I think I ordered one from Winchester.

I'm pretty sure that's where I got mine, but its been a while.
