Looking for mounting options for 34mm tubed 50mm objective scopes on your REPR. Cant not necessary (although never a bad thing). Would love to save weight, but not priority. QD nifty but not necessary. Plan ol' rings would would even work for me.

Thanks.

A picture is worth a thousand words. By the way, with this mount the scope sits in the perfect spot for your eye.

Re: REPR Shooters--Optics Mounting Question

I've been thinking about trying one of DTA's sloped bases on my AR. Seeing as how they work on the flat topped SRS rifle it should work fine on an AR as well I would think. I thought about the badger riser rail but then you have to clamp the rail down and then clamp rings on that. The DTA mount is one piece and you can get it in 20,30, and 40moa and 34, or 35mm.

I went with the DTA 34mm(20MOA) on my Repr, for a Premier 3-15 works great,I hear that there is also a Larue LT-112 20MOA but it's not listed on their website.

20 MOA. Solid. Now available at SWFA at a lower price. </div></div>

Jon- Are you planning on making a shorter mount? The 1 5/8" is just too darned tall for me. 1 3/8" would be just about perfect for me.

It's a possibility in the future but I'm not sure if there's enough demand right now. Most attracted to my mount are using big scopes and the height suits them well. With the 20 MOA slope, once you add a sunshade, ARD, ect and BC Caps to a 56mm objective, there's not a whole lot of room left anyway.

I have gotten a couple requests though, so if enough keep coming in it's a possibility for the future but I don't have any immediate plans. Right now the request for a 30mm mount outnumbers all other requests about 10:1 so that's what I'm focusing on for the time being.

Re: REPR Shooters--Optics Mounting Question

I was recently in the same position. I wantesd to mount a PH 3-15 on a REPR. I really wanted to hold out and get a 34mm Bobro one-piece QD mount, but I could not wait any longer for them to be produced. I went with the LaRue LT-158. The LT-158 is very nice! I feel that if you have flip-up sights, this mount is the perfect hieght. Pictures are worth a thousand words, right;
