F T/R Competition Results Odessa April 22nd

Overcast and cool temps today. Winter arrives again tomorrow, so we had reasonable weather locally to shoot the match.

Allen B. had his newly built 223Rem, but his scope went sour at the outset. I had my 6BR there for him to try out afterwards and give him the opportunity to try the Weaver T24 scope. I ended up removing the Weaver scope and handed him my glass to try for a spell. Looks like he will need new glass, so we expect that he will return with a replacement scope.

Thanks to all that came to shoot with us on a less than ideal day.

Brisk day, but also a fun one. Thanks to all who helped make this .30BR project so promising. The rifle shoots much better than I do, but it also gives great feedback to learn from. Great to see the gang back at Odessa. I'm sure the weather kept some more at home. Looking forward to seeing them all next time.
