Tom threw everyone a curve and started on the long distance part of the course this month. On top of that it started raining so hard you couldn't see the targets. Tom's squad showed which one had the real men in it and shot thru that rain. The rest of us wussed out and hid like lil girls under umbrellas and awnings. Not sure if the rain, mirage or the starting on the far targets caused the low scores but other than a few the scores were a tad low this month. Tom Rayner tied for 1st place and was a well deserved win. I got lucky and cleaned the lower section with a few bonus hits on lil targets to patch up a pretty pathetic score on the top side.

Still only 3 handgunners trying our best against these long barrel guys but we keep plugging away. I think we had 36 shooters this month, maybe the rain threat kept everyone away. Come on out and give this a try. 200 thru 900 yards and quite challenging for any skill level.

Thanks again to Tom and all his family and friends that help make this a fun and challenging place to shoot.

Here's the only pic I took. Tried to capture the rain but this can't do it any justice. Thats the first time I tried calling wind speed based on how horizontal the rain was comming in. I was 8' back from the front of the canopy and my legs still got soaked!

Fun, fun fun. Thanks, Tom.

Now that I've seen the new targets maybe my score will get better....maybe
Rain really messed with the first couple positions...at least for me. But had a good time as always. It was nice to see everyone again
Thanks Tom and Company
