Hi Guys ,

After seeing the post for the new MSR reticle for the S&B PMII 5-25x56mm scope , the most interesting Thing to me , was not the new reticle for the 5-25x , BUT the 30x reticle made for the Finns Zeiss 65 spotting scopes , thats real nice , and it should be offered to every one , as a different option than a Spotter 60 .

Re: Reticle for Zeiss 65

Problem is that the reticle was a one-off made for Finnish Defense Forces. I believe several hundred were made and some left-overs were available for reservists. Cost: 780 Euros inc. VAT 22% for the ocular only. Add the 1300 Euros for the 65 Scope and you are solidly above 2000 Euros.

Anyway you can not buy it at the moment so stop dreaming :) Maybe Zeiss could make a new production run but the reticle design itself is probably owned by FDF.

Leupold 16-40X60 with P4 reticle is the spotter I like best. It´s 1500 Euros but eye relief is definately better/longer than with Zeiss 65 with the reticle ocular. I have not seen it offered in the USA but I have personally handled one that was civilian purchased here in Finland.
