Im doing research to figure out what scope Im going to get. Im going to save up and get this scope and for a guy who m,akes an OK living this is a huge purchase. Unfortunately none of the shops around me stock high end optics so Im more than likely going to buy a scope I've never been able to get behind. Can you guys share some reticle pics of the big vortex razor. Also some pics of the Zeiss Diavari would be cool too. Thanks guys.

KSP446, if you had to do it all over again would you still buy that scope? OR would you buy something different, at the same price point or save more money for something else? Any info is appreciated.

Hmmm...the Vortex online manual for the EBR-3 shows it with 0.1 hashes from the 6 - 9 mil marks. The EBR-2 has the 0.2 mil hashes but with the "Christmas Tree". Can anyone confirm what is currently shipping on the Razor?

maybe their intention was to make the reticle .1 mil but it was too difficult for people to make out so they changed it. SWFA, do you have other scope's reticle pics for comparison. I thought I saw where you had an S&B pic of that sign.

Enkry, If I had to do it again, I'd buy two of them! I am totally pleased with the scope! I had a problem with my first one, which I bought used from another member here, the reticle became canted. I contacted Vortex and sent the scope to them. They sent me a brand new one, no questions asked!! It is by far the best scope with the most features that I've ever had. To me, the glass is much better than the NXS that I had!

I like the EBR2 with the .2 ranging bars. The .05 line is a bit clunky for me. I would prefer .03 or .04.

I have the ebr-3 and love it...Do yourself a favor and get your Vortex Razor from Scott @ Liberty Optics or CSTactical.

Wow that is even thicker than the EBR2 at .06 mils. Do you do any precision 100 stuff? Do you find the reticle gets in the way?

Thanks </div></div>The EBR-2 (which is what Chris posted a pic of) has .2's and the EBR-3 has .1's.
The differences between these two are that the 2 has the drop tree,.2 subs on the last 3 mils, and it has a .6 mil open center.
The EBR-3 has no drop tree, no open center, and it has .1 subs on the last 3 mils.

Darn... I love 0.1 mrad subtentions, hate lack of open center, like drop tree if it's visible but don't care all that much when I can see it only against the sky...
