My brother just recieved his rifle back from a local airbrush artist. The rifle started out as a stock savage LRPV. After some action polishing, a custom bolt knob, a Shilin select match barrel, and the art, this is what you get. He wanted a revolutionary war theme.

I love the we the people part. not much on the snake, but to each is own. they did a good job.

Looks like the artist did an excellent job! Cool idea on the morph from the Gadsden flag to the Constitution!!

Much respect for a great looking rifle and stock!

I know what you mean. These pictures really don't capture the detail. There is actuall gold leaf in the Constitution lettering.

The transition at the end of the scroll to where the forearm flares makes the scroll look 3-D. Excellent job and fine looking rifle. A piece to be proud of.

I really like it. An idea would be to put the whole preamble very faintly behind the coils of the snake. Just a thought.

I'm loving that idea. but too late on that. Im sure it wasnt cheap

Looks great. Wish I could paint like that. I have a really good airbrush. (But it just sits in the drawer until time to repaint duck decoys)

looks great, the scroll's edges threw me too. i thought it was a tube around the forearm, lol.
