I plan on upgrading the stock in the future, so I want to stick with some kind of pad or removable/adjustable cheek rest that can just swap out when the time comes.
I would look at the Karsten . The way youre cheek interfaces with the stock is very important . The problem I found with using a typical tie on leather style piece is youre point of aim will shift everytime you get behind it . If youre shooting in the less than 200yd range youll be fine but if you wanna stretch youre rifles legs you may wanna reconsider. Thats my 2 cents.
