Quick question for the hide, what kinds of warranties are offered by your favorite rifle makers? Such as GAP, AI, and so forth?
What sparks this question is my father, he is really into Christensen Rifles, he had a .375 H&H to take to Africa, he's come home and sold it, but he's thinking of buying another. It was a pretty cool rifle, but after messing around on Christensen's site I found that they only warranty their rifles for 30 days, seems pretty ridiculous to buy a $5000 dollar rifle that is only warrantied for 30 days, but I couldn't find GAP's on their site other than the 1/2moa guarantee, but I'm fairly sure they must do a better job than that, right? I also found that Black Ops Precision warranties their rifle's for life, that's pretty damned cool! Post what you know of custom rifle warranties, maybe we can all learn somethin, thanks!!
