Here's an older picture of my GAP Rock with a MagPack installed. With three independent retention straps, they're very adjustable and the pocket holds several different types of magazines.

I also installed one on an M1A because you can insert material inside the top of the mag-pack to work like an adjustable cheek-piece. And the material for the cheek-piece doesn't get slippery, so you can get a good cheek-weld.

I didn't know they existed. I'd love to try one out, since everything I have now is mag fed. Great idea.
