Would anyone suggest that rifling and twist accounted in ballistics app ?

I saw the title and thought "dammit rifling you had one job!". I'm sure someone with much more knowledge than I will come along and offer assistance... since spife covered the comic relief portion already.

change the twist and see what it does for your specific example

I think what he's asking is should you enter it in the ballistic app (also bullet length). Answer is yes, it will affect ballistics due to spin drift.

of course it does, as does a lot of other internal factors, powder and muzzle brakes matter too

The twist and rifling I get but how does a powder effect the external ballistics beyond muzzle velocity?
