So I recently finished upgrading my 10/22 and the last thing I was getting was rings/ a scope mount. I wanted to get a cantilever or one piece mount but I know cantilevers sit higher for AR platforms and one piece mounts like a SPUHR or ADM are super expensive. Does anyone know of any cantilever or one piece mounts that sit low and aren't expensive? or that would work on a ruger 10/22? Maybe this is a stupid question, if so, forgive me and ill just go with regular rings lol! Thanks.

Also the scope I'm using is a Diamondback tactical 4-16x44 FFP.

I also use the VQ barrel mounted cantilever rail.(with Vortex 6x24 similar to your scope) I use the Burris rings with inserts to get some slope for longer ranges. This setup will keep the scope in line with the barrel, even if the Ruger receiver has the barrel mounting hole drilled at an angle to the receiver. (fairly common problem) If holes need to be drilled in your barrel for the mount, make sure you use a competent gunsmith, so the mounting holes wind up in line with the barrel ( don't want the scope pointing off to the side) I think the VQ barrels are predrilled for this mount, and mine is a hammer, Anschutz level accuracy.
