Is anyone else keeping a log book for their rimfire rifle?
I have been, though Ive only been logging my round count and general notes about the range session.
What are some differences between your CF and RF logbooks, if youre keeping both?

My current book has tabs for my .308 bolt gun, 5.56 spr, and my .22 40x. I also have tabs for general data, formulas, range sketches (useful in the desert), etc. and a copy of the NF NXS manual and Jeff Owen's "Reading the Wind and Coaching Techniques". My log book is bursting the seems of its Triad cover.

Ive got range sketches in mine, as well as angular formulas and data, but havent messed with them
much. A lot of the shooting around here is in abandoned quarries and on pipelines, so itd come in handy.I'll have to check out that book.

yeah, keep a book with everything. i've used dfoosking's sketch above to make an nice little drawing in mine.

i think impact data books have RF sheets to add.

actually my rimfire book has more stuff in it than my centerfire. swapping to different ammo i keep a page or two of drops, holdovers, temps, wind data, ranging etc.

DFOOS, killer idea on that card. I take it you zero it using the intersection of the crosshairs, then turn in 5 mils of elevation to use the dots? My boy shoots with me, and has a Simmons 6.5-20x AO with mil dots on his MK II GL. He loves this kind of shit, we'll have to whip something like that up.

My only complaint about the leupold dot in my 6-18 VXII is that theres no way to do something like that.

Ok now that is just down right stupid simple! No need for fancy things when you can just use some scrap!

All I have to say is you guys are all evil, you know that. Mainly because my wife keeps looking over my shoulder and seeing all of the "goodies" I want to buy and use, though she only sees the price of them.
