For you locals who come to Boone to shoot the Rimfire Tac Match:
Please PM me or e-mail me before driving up to Boone this weekend. I will not be able to host the Match this weekend but I am looking for somone to take it and run it.

On the other hand, if you want to shoot the .22 Rimfire Handgun Steel Challenge match, come on up.

Things in my schedule should be back to normal for the August Rimfire Tac Match.

Best Regards!

Unofficial Results...
For those of you that showed up to shoot, thanks for coming! We had a great time as usual, turnout was a bit low, as expected this month. We'll let Hammr post the official results when he gets back and checks the sheets, but here's where I think we'll fall (Score/Group size):
Kevin Hartley 435/.480"
Larry Anderson 415/1.060
Jamie Anderson 405/.430
Bill Conrad 405/.630
Bryan Wood 310/.440
Fred Stahl 280/.570

Some discussion was had regarding extending this match past the August date, into the autumn months. Chime in if you think you'd be interested. Many thanks to Hammr for arranging for us to shoot in his absence.

Re: Rimfire Tac Match @ Watauga Gun Club

Our Rimfire Matches are patterned after the matches started by the good folks out on the West Coast. http://www.accurateshooter.com/shooting-skills/rimfire-tactical-precision-match/
We shoot what I call "Standards" each month. We shoot the same stages every month at 50, 75 and 100 yards. With the Standards the challenge is to improve oneself from one month to the next but they are hard enough to bite you if you get complacient. After the Standards, we shoot several other unannounced stages test skill.
