Ring height for 40mm scope to clear AAC Cyclone

Hey Guys,

What would be the necessary ring + base height for a 40mm scope to clear an AAC cyclone on a Remington 700?

I would not factor in the cyclone for your ring height, you won't see it. Go with a 20 MOA base and either low or medium rings. I have MK IV base and medium rings with a 50mm objective and I have a bit to spare.

I'm running a 44mm scope with 20MOA base and low rings, no issues - you should be GTG.

Witch Doctor - what stock is that on your set-up?

Its the H-S that came on it, just can't see the green webbing in the picture beacuse of the light.

What about if I don't want a 20moa base?

e-mail the scope company and ask them what they would suggest.

With a 40mm objective, the lowest base and rings will easily clear the barrel.

Leupold said low would work (dual dovetail), so that's what I'm going with. I'll update if it doesn't work.
