I have a POF P415 16" and a Weaver 3-10x40 tac. I've been searching the forum but can't find a difinitve answer. Due to the slightly raised rail height what is the appropriate ring height?

The first big STICKY at the very top of the Optics forum covers this nicely:

The slightly raised rail height because of the piston has nothing to do with the rings you need as the rail is a 1pc unit. Get the lowest rings you can that will allow the scope's bell to clear the rail.

In short:

[(Bell Outside Diam.) + 3mm - (30mm Tube Diam.)] /2 = Minimum Ring Height as Measured from the Base of the Ring/Mount to Base of Scope Tube. The +3mm is to permit the use of BC covers/etc.

If it is a Monolithic rail, same length all the way....then you will need super highs. Usually goes the same with all AR's. Just get something at least 1" with a 40mm obj, or 1.5" if it is larger.

Any of the AR mounts will work like the Larues, Burris PEPR, SWFA, etc.

What you need to worry more about than the objective off the rail is the proper height for you to get a good eye relief. Any of the above would work fine for both objective clearance and sight picture.
