Rifle Scopes RIng height for Viper PST 2.5-10x44?

So I just picked up a Viper PST 2.5-10x44 and they suggested picking up some Warne Med height rings. It feels a little high for my taste/ Before I go out and pick up another set, has anyone used Low or x-low on a 44mm objective scope? It's going on a rem700 sps tact.

When i had one of those I ran low rings. I also ran them in a set of talley lw's the were low height. I have a picture from that build:

Cool, so low rings will work. Thanks for the pic! Might be posting some Warne tact med height rings for sale soon haha.
