I have read every where about this

I am putting a SPS tactical aac-sd in an 2.0 AICS

going to mount a Nightforce 5.5-22x50mm scope

Using a nightforce 20 moa base

what nightforce ring size (height) do I need for a good cheek weld

I have read all the height info and videos and I saw that the AICS comes into play because of the cheek piece height

Re: ring height ? with AICS stock

It's all personal preference. If you keep your head low, than low rings will work, granted the obj. clears the barrel which you should have no problems with since the NF is a 50mm.

If you keep your head higher than a higher set will work. If you get rings that a to high, you could always raise the cheek piece.

I keep my head low, so a factory remington stock is still to low with low rings. The AICS cheek height is where it should be to begin with IMO.

You can go as low as the Badger 0.823" Center height but I tend to recommend the 0.885" Center Height rings.

I used Seekins .87 medium rings for my stock SPS Tactical. Had to go to Badger 1.125 highs after putting the SPS in a AICS stock to get a good sight window.

56mm objective nightforce on a badger 20moa base and I use a medium-high 1" Badger rings. I get less than a 1/10" space from barrel to scope. Works great. I tried the 1.125 high rings and that required me to raise the check piece to get proper cheek weld.
