I would get whichever one is the right price, weight is marginal and they do the same thing.

That being said I went with seekins which are aluminum.

I'm partial NF Ultralight rings, they are aluminum with a titanium cross bolt.

Have 3 pairs of those and they are excellent. Seekins Precision also makes excellent aluminum rings.

Your personal preference as to which you use. But be sure the base and rings are made of the same material (Aluminum to Aluminum, or Steel to Steel.) JAA

Thanks guys ,wasnt sure if one contracted or expanded more and if it made a difference.I hunt/shoot in weather from 0 to 100 degrees.

I have used steel on aluminum and aluminum on steel and there are no problems. Shoot in the teens to over 100. Buy quality and you won't have any problems.

Agree 100% with rings, with bases I personally much prefer steel. The Seekins rings look like a great unit, for a great price. If the budget is higher go Badger.
