As the title says.

Running the following rig (still to be setup, rifle is sitting in customs right now, should be in around 2 weeks from now).

Savage 10 FLCP-K .308
EGW 20 MOA base.
Bushnell Elite 4200 6-24x50mm FFP scope.

Obviously need some rings for this setup. I was going to get LaRue Quick-detach mounts but they cant export to me. Quick Detach would be a nice feature for storage and possibly the ability to mount a lower quality optic on a different set of mounts for spotlighting out the back of the truck where i wouldnt want to break an expensive (to me) scope.
However, Quick Detach is not an option.

Was thinking Leupold Mk4's or Burris Signature Zee rings.
However am open to opinions.

Cheers guys.

Burris XTR rings, a 1/2 inch socket and a torque wrench. They come off quick with a 1/2 inch combination wrench and torque them back on to the predetermined setting and they will return very near to zero.
You could always get a Konu or Nikko-Sterling as your beater scope, although to be honest, Bushnell makes a pretty tough scope.

+1 on the xtr burris

optics planet has free shipping. brownells and midway have them on special every other month. there are usually used pairs of them and badger, seekins and NF, Lupy, all of them.

I've heard about seekins and apparantly thier good.
Only problem is sourcing them in australia, though i did order my 20MOA base direct from EGW so i might send off an enquiry.

I'll look into Burris XTR's. Cheers guys.
