So I'm slowly gathering all the parts for my current build, it's going to be a 6.5 Creedmoor out of a BAT action and Krieger barrel sitting in a MDT ACC chassis with a Kahles K624i on top. The action will have a 20moa rail on it.

I'm looking to zero this at 100 yards.

Should I use rings that have a additional 10moa in them so I can basically bottom the scope out ( and still have a little room) or use rings without any moa in them?

I would like to be able to shoot this as far as I can while still keeping a 100 yard zero.

Are there any rings that can be purchased with 10moa or am I better off using Burris signature rings with the removable inserts to try to achieve what I'm trying to do?

Thanks for any help.

How far are you planning on shooting? 1000 yds? 1 mile? 20 MOA should be fine unless you're regularly going to be shooting to a mile.

If you want to add to your 20 MOA rail, I would highly suggest a quality 1-piece mount that has cant built in to it, like a Spuhr or Era-Tac. Inexpensive rings with inserts like the Burris are just asking for trouble, IMO. If you really want rings instead of a 1-piece mount, ditch the idea of adding MOA and buy a known quality ring set, like Seekins (Vortex), NF, Badger, ARC M10, Hawkins, etc.
