RIP Frank Desomma of POF.

I have two of his guns — a .308 14.5” GP and his 5.56mm DI Minuteman. Both solid guns. I really like the Minuteman and it’s the one that sits next to my bed. It could’ve been a KAC SR-15, a Noveske Infidel G4, or an LMT MRP — but it’s a POF.

Didn’t know the guy (didn’t even know his name until your OP), but that’s about as high praise as I can give.

For every one of him, there are 100 working against him. Our losses are felt far more keenly.

RIP.

Sad he passed, never wish Ill will on anyone! Just not a fan of POF though, had three of his rifles, two were junk from the factory and couldn’t get any customer service at all, bad head spacing, out of spec rifles, round got stuck in the chamber on the .308, My local gunsmith actually had to drop them off on his way to a match in Arizona personally for me as they would not return any of my calls. Got em back and sold them, only good thing was, it was when the gun ban scare was on and I got $5k for one rifle alone. So not all bad news. Guess they must have sorted out their issues after I dealt with them so that is good to hear.
