Probably responsible for William Jefferson Clinton, but in all the memorial coverage I’ve seen nothing about his finest hour. The Iran Rescue That Worked
Don, I like your posts, but I gave up taking exception to Politicians lying about taxes back when Kennedy was in Office; and I wasn't even old enough to vote back then.
My Brother ran for a municipal seat in a large NJ city in 1968, as Republican. He garnered the largest percentage in history for a Republican candidate in that city, and he still didn't get enough to gain the seat on the City Council (free for all...).
I was very busy in his campaign, but it ended up disgusting me. Nobody should ever watch Ketchup or Sausage being made up close and personal.

But the 'sale' was a fraud and the buyer basically bailed But Perot took his massive commission and started his own company... to compete with IBM.
I don't question his entrepreneurship. But he was not all beer and skittles. He was a conniving egotist who cost America a ton.... because as much as I came to later not like Bushes and dynasties... GHWB was a damn sight better than Bubba and Killary. Who would still be trading cattle futures in Little Rock if not for Ross.
I remember the Perot's Company EDS (Electronic Data Systems) tape drives on the mainframes where I learned as a D/P systems operator, the foundation of my career as an I/T Professional.
Major Garrett re-examines Perot's 1992 presidential campaign, when, against odds almost unfathomable now, he qualified on ballots in all 50 states as an independent candidate
