    OK,

While someone did a pretty serious job reading the wiki page for Rittenhouse’s is event…. A large part of this doesn’t seem to match everything seen on video. This of course leads me to believe that it was written by somebody who wants to downplay the crap that happened to Rittenhouse. … more than ever watched any of the videos.

Wikipedia, like many other deeply biased institutions of our brave new digital world, has made itself into a kind of thought police that has de facto shackled conservative viewpoints with which they disagree. Democracy cannot thrive under such conditions: I maintain that Wikipedia has become an opponent of vigorous democracy. Democracy requires that voters be given the full range of views on controversial issues, so that they can make up their minds for themselves. If society’s main information sources march in ideological lockstep, they make a mockery of democracy. Then the wealthy and powerful need only gain control of the few approved organs of acceptable thought; then they will be able to manipulate and ultimately control all important political dialogue.

Wikipedia doesn't equal truth or facts any more than CNN
Wikipedia lists CNN as a reliable source (except CNN opinion pieces) - and FOX as reliable (except ALL of their political and science content)

Wikipedia is yet another 'institution' that the Left has taken over in direct violation of its founder's intent. See link to Larry Sanger's blog above.

You too, can be a wikipedia page editor…

    This.

Anybody can go and create/edit a Wikipedia page. This is why Wikipedia citations aren't allowed in college papers.

It can be a great place to start looking into something to determine what you might want to research elsewhere...but Wikipedia information shouldn't be trusted anymore than a story from a dude at the end of the bar.
