Rl-15 30-05 175 smk?

I am reloading for M1 Garand this is all the componets I have 175gr smk,RL-15 Any body?

I think RL-15 is a tad slow for the Garand. I personally wouldnt use it. The 175 SMK would work nicely in it though.

RE15 is a bit on the slow side for the Garand. Not worth risking a bent op rod. Best powders are in the H4895/4064 range.

ETA: My Hornady 7th lists 46.5 gr as max for RE15 and 178 gr Amax. Must be OK.
