RL-17 to fast?

I have a sendero II in 300wm. 26" barrel.I have a bunch of 178 g BTHP's and some RL- 17. My question is, is this powder too fast for this load? Thank you in advance for your replies!

Thank you for your input. With everything I've read on this site majority of people are using H 1000 or H 4350 or RL-22. I had Boughton the 17 when things we're getting hard to find............. Not my first choice in powder!

RE17 is about the same burn rate as 4350, and that works well in the 300WM.
