Has anyone been able to contact Rock Creek Barrels in the last two weeks? Every call that I make goes to a voice message that asks for a mailbox user code and will not take a message. They are not answering email either.

I always wonder what goes on at Rock Creek. 4 or 5 years ago I tried to order a Med. weight M1A barrel. Spoke to Mike twice, turns out he hunts in the same area of South Dakota as I do. Had a really nice hour long conversation. He took my order and told me it would be done in 2 months. 3 months later and no barrel so I started calling. Nobody ever answered the phone. After another month I gave up. Never did see the barrel or hear from them. No hard feelings I guess when business is so good that you dont need to fufill your commiments one less customer is no big deal. Called Krieger and got my barrel as promised.

I was wondering why there were no messages on the answering machine when we got back, I will check to see whats wrong with the machine when i get in tomorrow. If you have troubles getting through on phone or with emails anyone can PM me on here and I will get back to you right away I usually check my PM's 3 to 4 times a day. We are swamped like every other barrel maker right now so just keep calling til you get through. We are having problems with a couple of the email addresses on the website best one to use is mikerock@rockcreekbarrels. We are in the middle of designing a new website also and we will be changing around the email addresses at that time and hopefully it will help with the email problems. But like I said before if you aren't getting a email response just PM me and i will get back to you same day.

I will attest to them being very busy! I have visited the shop first hand and trust me they are working on barrels to be sure! If for some reason you can't get a hold of someone or you are not gotten back to in a timely manner then something is wrong and it's not that they are ignoring you. These guys are as good as they come!

I've sent 3 emails over the last 6 months trying to get some info on a barrel. Not heard back yet. Even tried calling a couple of times. This must have been why no answer or return emails.

I spoke to Paul last week at the shop. It took awhile to get through but, I got him. Super nice guy and I hope my 8 twist 6mm barrel will be at Lawton this week (please, please, please).

I called Rock creek barrels yesterday, Monday the 21st, looking for a .308 M40 barrel. I guess there was one just laying there, so I bought it. They sent it today.

I received a 30 cal barrel about three weeks ago. I sent an email with what I wanted and ask for a price and lead time. Got a reply the same day from Paul. I was quoted 8 weeks and had the barrel in 8 weeks.
