Another item from my buddy’s estate. Up for grabs is an older RRA 1911 (not to be confused with RIA rock island armory). This 1911 dates back to 2001 or prior. I will contact RRA this week to get a build date. On the RRA website the closest matching pistol would be the “NM Hardball” that retails for $2600.
This pistol has very nice rosewood grips, bluing is very nice, trigger is nice with no noticeable slack and a clean and crisp break. Slide fit is tight and barrel engagement is well fitted. It has a Kart NM barrel and a Kart barrel bushing. The sights are RRA Bomar style adjustable sights. This is a very clean pistol and it is the very desirable older manufacture date.

What is pictured is what you get. I did not see an original box or any other items for this pistol.

I’d like to get $1600 plus shipping and insurance. First post with “I will take it” followed by a PM get it. This is listed on other forums and available for sale locally.

i read a article one time in a gun mag the author built guns for the military's marksmanship unit and had a bunch of 45's including les baers he said his rra was the most accurate 45 he owned. the guys that started rra made frames for les if i remember right. this was a great buy good luck with your new pistol you will not be disappointed.

The RRA 1911’s from that time period were special. Have one. About every part has the serial # on it. Sort of like the old Swedish Mausers. They came in a big ugly blue plastic box with a test target. Beautiful old world blueing, just don’t see this craftmanship these days.
