Rough raceway broaching--clean up?

It appears that the broach was well worn when broaching the receiver on my FN Model 70. There are some nasty tool marks in the bottom of the receiver and on the anti-bind rail.

As far as I can tell, they don't impede function. The bolt cycles smoothly, and I seem to have good lug engagement.

Is this something safe to clean up by hand with a riffle file until it's cosmetically OK, or is this something best left until the day comes to true the action and rebarrel?

Frankly, if the tool marks are only a cosmetic issue and not causing any functional problems, don't fuck with the rifle!

They could be cleaned up with some light lapping or stoning, but the likelihood of screwing up something that works is much higher than the likelihood of improving the situation. Been there, done that, got the sob stories to prove it.

Don't go trying to fix what isn't broken.

About 10K bolt cycles will smooth out what needs smoothing.
