Looking to find anyone that knows if anyone is doing anything to the RPR, I know you hear all about truing and blueprinting the 700's. I wasn't sure if anyone was messing around with doing anything to the RPR. I know its an entry level rifle but it shoots pretty good and Id like to try and get the most out of it.

Think of your RPR as a bolt action version of the AR15.
You can replace the barrel using the same tools, you are also likewise limited to the things you can do. They are fantastic rifles.
There are aftermarket triggers available.
Several companies are offering match grade barrels.
You can change the furniture.
LRI was the first to come out with bits and bobs for the rifle.

We've done our fair share of RPR barrels in everything from 22 BR through 3006 and 6.5x55.
I've trued the actions and tested them against untrued with multiple shooters, the action consistency isnt' the weak link the platform.

We make RPR prefits almost every day, the best thing to do is to put a good barrel on it and then replace the trigger.
From there the add-on parts aren't aiding repeatability. The barrel is hands down the first thing I would suggest doing.

Almost... We offered drop-in replacement barrels before anyone else. I even published the tenon shank print and Frank hosted it here.

I would really be interested in how you go about truing the action.
I was really speaking in terms of the bits and bobs,, not the barrels. Things like the replacement bolt shroud and such.
Really, there isn't much to do with the darn things.
I am no Ruger fanboy, but damn if they didn't get this right. Even the trigger is damn nice.
Of course, a high quality barrel is always a good choice,

I know I’d spend the money on a good barrel and would like to have my bolt and everything squared up. I know they are a great rifle for the money but would like to get the most out of it. I was shooting 1600 yards and was getting up to a 3 mil shift from Point of aim and point of impact. I managed a hit but took about 15 rounds. Was also factory 140 eld from Hornady.

Do you have a site or some contact info I can get? I’d like to discuss some stuff with you.
