Hey, took me a while to work the whole system out. I have a question that i need big help with. Im looking at buying a new sako 85 and have narrowed it down to the hunter stainless in a 6.5x55 or a varmint laminated stainless 308. Now the reason im stuck is would either of these be suitable for taking red deer sized game at longer ranges out to say 800 yards max I like the varmint design and quality but i also like the 6.5x55 caliber. Is the 308 suitable for what i want to achieve? Any help is welcome, thanks
