have a RRA in 308 and want to build a new upper. the one i have has a 16" barrel and I'm wanting a longer barrel , i might go with 6.5cm upper for a little more distance but mainly I'm wanting as much accuracy as possible! Where should i start? Is there someone who makes accurate barrels that would fit on my RRA? Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!!!

In theory, you could get a new barrel spun up on the RRA AR10 extension if you had to. I'm not sure who does that specifically, I know some LMT MRP (quick swap barrel) owners have a guy they all recommend for extension retrofits. Might have to buy a whole barrel from RRA to get just the extension as well. Food for thought.

RRA barrels are usually pretty accurate.
If you go 6.5, you'll likely need a high pressure bolt, otherwise you'll be popping primers. Not a big deal, well worth it. Use small rifle primer brass.

I was curious and looked at their website. You can order their barrel extension for $40, looks like they charge you $2 more if you want the indexing pin? If you want accurate, I would talk to the better AR gunsmiths out there and see if they've done an RRA before. RRA sells complete 6.5 barrels but I would be looking for someone to build me a barrel using a blank if I wanted something truly accurate.
