I recently bought a TFC34L mk2 to marry up with a anvil30 I had been using with a Feisol I sold.
I mounted up the anvil to the top of the fixed apex of the RRS and either through over tightening or dry firing (shelter in place inhibiting range time) I spun the threads out of the apex. This single point of mounting in the new fixed apex is different. I contacted RRS on their site and shot Mike a PM on Saturday.
Mike responded that night and e exchanged some messages and pictures and he promised to follow up on Monday after he had a chance to discuss with the engineers.
Today I received a fixed apex conversion kit with the older anvil cup with 4 allen bolts as attachment, and QD I mentioned I was looking to get too.
