I guess Thermal Optics Plus is Sold Out too, sorry for the Deadend…Their real good though when you can’t find RRS stuff around.

That would be awesome if EmanP came through for you…Darn those were hard to find when I wanted another one recently…

Good luck!

I have them in stock still (I think we have (1) left).

I think they are phasing these out in favor of an update that has a locking detent as well as an adjustable lever. So I'd expect they would be harder to find going forward.

i picked up one of the locking (R locks) yesterday off their site. I think it was the last one.

Do we know if the newer one is compatible with the Ckye-Pod? I'm not so worried about locking (R locks) but if they phase out this I just am looking for one and as everyone can tell they are hard to come by.

The ARMS and ARC versions have two mounting holes vs one for the SC-LR. The SC-LR is the one that fits the ckye-pod. I'm looking for one myself for a ckye-pod.

Also If I am not mistaken (which is certainly possible) the SC-LR works for the Ckye-Pod, but the ARMS-LR is what you would want for the Atlas bipod. These don't interchange, so don't get them confused even though the look very similar externally. I think as referenced above the hole pattern is different (among other things).

SC ARC arrived today defintely doesnt work with CYKE pod, am wondering if it will even work with the PRS. (I bought it for the atlas).

All you need is an adapter to run an Atlas pattern clamp like the ARMS-LR. I use the grayops version on multiple ckyepods.

We just got some SC ARC's in the shop.

The SC-ARC [ https://www.bisontactical.com/sc-arc-soar-clamp/ ] works with the Atlas bipods, but not Ckye-Pods which have the RRS Interface from MDT.

If you want a lever (non-adjustable tension) from RRS then you need the soon to be discontinued SC-LR.

ARMS-LR + SC-LR are to be both replaced by the SC-ARC which is an ARMS configuration and does NOT work with the RRS Interface from MDT.

For the MDT RRS Interface on the Ckye-Pod - you will need this: [ https://www.bisontactical.com/rrs-sc-lr/ ] they are currently out of stock, but we have a few due to arrive before they are completely discontinued in favor of the SC-ARC.

Is the tension adjustable on those?

None of the RRS Lever clamps have adjustable tension. I think they figure if your a manufacturer using the correct RRS Dovetail specification it should work with out having to have a tension adjustment.

I know however there are a lot of rails available to purchase (like on Amazon etc) that don't use the correct specification and won't work with the RRS lever clamp - but the benefit is that the lever is much much faster to use.

For example, I know these work with my RRS Anvil-30 which uses the same clamp setup:

MPA Chassis
MDT Chassis
Foundation Rail (I think made by Sawtooth)
AT-X Chassis
HRD Gear ARCA rail
RRS Rails like this one: https://www.bisontactical.com/universal-soar-rail/

Not sure about others...

Ah. man. I feel a bit screwed now getting a RRS head on a Ckye-Pod on Black Friday. I didn't know the RRS SC-LR was getting discontinued and can't find one anywhere now. What good is the RRS head on the Ckye-Pod when the RRS SC-LR no longer even exists? Does it even work with anything else that's useful?

Looks like at least one option is the Gray Ops Ckye-Pod adapter (converts to Atlas style, sold by SAP) + the SC-ARC, but that seems like kind of a meh solution.

Sorry, I am mistaken in my above comments. The SC-ARC is so new that I didn't realize it is now adjustable regarding the question asked by @EmanP. I just verified that indeed the new versions have adjustable tension. Here is a link to the manual if you have questions about the new SC-ARC from RRS: https://soar.reallyrightstuff.com/sc-arc-manual

Additionally, we do have some SC-LR's still slated to ship. These are going to be in high demand since these will be the last ones. However they fit directly on the RRS Interface being currently put out by MDT, so they will be a drop-in replacement just without R-Lock.

We have some SC-LR's still outstanding and they will be shipped according to RRS - so I am going to enable backorders for those. If you want one of them, these will be the last ones inbound.

Sounds like I want the new clamp then. I'll have to wait for them to get in stock, thanks!
Keep in mind the new clamp will not mate up to the Ckye-Pod without an adapter. I think Gray Ops is the only company that makes an adapter for the Ckye-POD to convert it to the ARMS style right now.

That Gray Ops to Atlas/ARMS adapter + the SC_ARC is one option I'm interested in trying out at some point, but I went ahead and ordered one of these SC-LRs just because I already have the Ckye-POD RRS adapter and the SC-LR is going to completely disappear soon.
