RRS SC-LR Clamp and MDT Chassis

I just picked up a MDT ACC chassis and tried my SC-LR clamp on the rail. It’s really tight. So tight I’m afraid to cam the lever all the way closed. Anyone else run into this? Do I need a different clamp?

Was it a used or older mdt chassis sitting on shelf? Or both brand new. You can hollar at @MDT_Josh as well. There is a chance we could have made a clamp to tight but On the initial batches of MDT the rails were slightly different than spec from what I understand. Let me play around with a clamp at work tomorrow and see if I can find a solution for you specifically just to get everything rolling and get you where you want to be whether anything is off with either product.

I’m referring to the chassis. I bought the clamp new last year.

If it is one of the very early ACC's then there is a chance that the integral dovetail is on the larger side. We have worked with @MPHReallyRightStuff and the team over there to ensure that all of our current production will not have this issue.
