I admittedly no very little about tripods. My friend has what he says is the rrs tfc 2x tripod and we can’t seem to figure out which adapter or anvil 30 that we need to make it work?

If you have the TFC that is a fixed apex with a single 3/8" stud on top and a set screw. You would use just the No adapter version and be set as long as you utilize the set screw. Down the road if you want to change out your apex to a different type we can help with that, give me a hollar.
