The new, gen 2 Anvil, is the ARC with integrated r-lock. This is the gen 1 Anvil. Take a look at their site.

There are gen1 and gen1.2 anvils, there are slight differences in the ball head locking arm and arca locking mechanism. Easy way to tell is turn upside down, gen1.2 has multiple holes drilled in the ball lock lever. These gen1 will lock on A419 scappold rails no problem, at least mine are compatible.
