Ruger 10/22 threaded barrel end

I was contemplating getting a Ruger TD with a threaded barrel, but then came across these nifty looking devices for a regular Ruger. Anyone have any experience with these. I can purchase a non threaded ruger TD for much less than a threaded barrel and if this thing works it wold be a cheap alternative.

Just save your self the possible baffle strike and get a threaded barrel. I am assuming (yea I know a risk) that you plan on running a suppressor on it.

Just get your barrel threaded. This way you are sure that your threads are correct.

What is the cost differential between getting a barrel threaded and a baffle strike? Don't forget to add the cost of ebay add-on.......

I have no experience with the part you posted, however I would also vote to have the barrel threaded.

Buy a Tac Sol 10/22 threaded barrel. Super lightweight and no worry of baffle strikes.

The ebay device says it's for 'fake suppressors' and that's what they mean. It's not accurate enough to mount a real suppressor, as previously mentioned, you would get baffle strikes with this slip-fit adapter. It's for 'visual effect' devices only: muzzle brakes, compensators and such. If you don't have a silencer just go shoot the crap out of your 10-22 and have fun. If you have a suppressor go to whomever you class III dealer recommends and get the barrel threaded. A dealer wants to sale more so they'll know who can thread it right.

That is what I run with my suppressor works great I would not mess with that ebay gimmick
