Ruger America Go wild 300 win mag

Bell and Carlson (composite) or Boyds (wood) are the only traditional types that I'm aware of for the R.A. As for ammo I usually buy cheap stuff to zero with and start using handloads to fine tune.

The twist rate will determine the ammo you use, more than anything. If you’re 1:10, you’ll be able to use anything from 180-230 grains. In my opinion, Hornady makes some damn-good factory ammo. I’ve been using Hornady’s 178 GR ELD match-grade ammo for target shooting up to 1,300 yards. I have no complaints at all. I’ll be testing Hornady’s 195 GR ELD match ammo next time I head out, because I want to hit a mile. I’m not much help for hunting rounds, but I still recommend Hornady. Best of luck to you in your search.
