Ruger M77 MK2 target.

Anyone build anything out of a Ruger? Found a pretty screaming deal on one and thought it Might be cool to build a 6mm BR outta it for a range and varmint toy. Its a shot out 22-250. I know scope mounting sucks but Its probably only gonna get a leupold VX2 with with a target dot on top of it.

Years ago I built a real nail driver out of a ruger MKII. Used the laminate target stock that came with the rifle and had it built by David Tooley. I now have 2 other rugers built on hawkeye actions, a 260 and a 308 built by Whidden rifles. The only issues are the actions are heavy and it's difficult to find some smiths that want to build on a ruger.
