I just got back in the office from a two week trip to the major rifle manufacturers . We will be machining many new parts for Ruger, FN, Remington, Weatherby, Sig Sauer and Savage among others. Beside the many new contracts and orders for Chamber Reamers and cutters here at Pacific Tool we have much to offer at our Machining facility . I will be moving 10 more CNC machining centers and 6 Star CNC tool grinders in PTG and our new 30,000 sq. ft. Pacific Precision machining facility we purchased directly behind us. My goal is to separate our tool company from our machine shop. We are just finishing a run of Sako steel trigger guards along with all of our standards and will be finishing up our Stealth and flush cut Detachable units for Howa , Ruger 77 and cadet models and Mark V WBY models. All the new detachable will be like our Winchester and Remington , Plug and play just drop the old and insert the new using the appropriate Accuracy International Mag's. I cant foresee any of the Units priced more than 99 bucks and we will offer combo Guards and Magazine discounts . Along with them we will be offering Precision ground one piece bolts and many other assorted parts . Please keep looking at our Web site as we are listing new tools and parts weekly. Thank you for all support and help you have given us to make this happen. Dave Kiff

Will a 223 mag be an option on the Ruger bottom metal, and if so, is there a flush mag option? I know that will only give me a two or three round capacity, but I can live with that if it means it will carry like a stock gun.

I remember reading somewhere on the Hide about a DBM for the Remington Model Seven that uses modified Mini 14 mags? Would like to hear more about this, and what c.o.a.l. rounds will be able run from it?
Thanks!

Ruger finally sent the last stock of the four types . The older m-77 is on the shelf and the Scout / Sort action M-77 is about off the machine . all the Ruger DBM,s and trigger guard assemblies are made from either 7076 Aluminum 4140 steel . The Stealth DBM is one piece and uses a AI magazine . The girls are taking orders , Thanks Dave

Hi Dave, just been on PTG website again, still could not find the m77 bottom metal? is it by phone order only?

No, I haven't received it yet. I'm waiting to have it sent to Mcmillian for inletting. I'm hoping it is soon as it's been 4 months since the promised delivery date. It's getting ridiculous. I keep getting the run around about dates. I'm told another 2 weeks every time and have been told that since December.

I did. Won't work on the ruger m77 mark 2. Had to return it. I sent it to Mcmillian for inletting and their head guy (dick Davis) said the holes were off by .040. He was sending pics to Dave Kidd supposedly.
