I have recently purchased a Ruger Precision 6.5 Creedmoor and I need recommendations gor a bipod ... anyone have recommendations? Brand? Model? Length? Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

6-9 inches is good off a bench or prone. It’s my go to length.

Brands, Harris for 100, atlas for 300. I dislike the magpul because it feels sloppy for target/precision stuff (excellent lightweight hunting bipod though) and I’ve never used a cykepod so I can’t comment. Lots of time behind Harris, atlas, and magpul though. Definitely choose between atlas and Harris depending on what you wanna spend.

What’s Your budget. Some bipod might cost 1/2 of your rifle.

Such a vague question.
Budget?
Use?
Required level of internet street cred?

i’ll agree on the Magpul. They make great products but I think their bipod needs a major redesign. Yes, it still resides on my RPR but I went with Atlas on the MPA. Atlas is a much better piece of equipment.

My biggest issue with the Magpul is that you cannot tighten it enough. Literally the rifle will fall over because the bipod is just that loose. The legs are sloppy but On the RPR which has become a practice rifle, I am not going spend a bunch on more accessories. (The barrel is getting very long in the tooth, still shooting well and grouping quite nicely but with around 2200 rounds down the tube, time is getting close for a replacement).

So, back to the subject at hand, got the cash, go at least with Atlas, money strapped, the Harris is a proven product. Don’t forget the adapter.

3 Harris 6-9 bipods here and a Sako. The Harris bipods are a proven design, well made, inexpensive and work for me.

Harris for $100 range, Altas and Accu-Tac $300 range and under Thunder beast if you want to really splurge.
