I got one of the Ruger PR rifles for my son and it is a real tack driver too. I really like the longer bolt throw too. As of yet we haven’t found anything that shoots better than the CCI SV. I’m sure some of the really high dollar ammo may shoot better but the CCI stuff shoots so good and is so cheap I haven’t found the need to find out. The CCI SV shoots equally well out of my MK II. Once you stretch it out to 200 yards the groups open a little but inside 100 it maintains sub MOA.
The range I have been going to is about 30 minutes north and east of Elk Neck and they have 600 yards. I don’t always make the extra drive but it is never busy and the extra distance is nice. I can also set up multiple targets between 25 and 250yards and transition like a PRS match. I go to one or the other every weekend and can’t take a guest to the other range if you want to come along and try it out one weekend.
