I had the bolt disassembled . When putting it all back together, the firing pin and bolt shroud would fly back out of the gun when the bolt was closed.
The firing pin spring would need to be re-cocked, placed back in the bolt body and all would come flying out again with the bolt closing.
Went through this about ten times looking for what could be done different to correct it.
Finally just worked correctly. Still do not know the cause or correction.
Anybody have this happen to them?
It leaves me uneasy about firing it.

Never.

Did that too when I allowed the take down tool to slipout. Your firing pin body had rotated and did not allow the lobes to lock into the bolt handle. There is a distinct sound and feel when it proberly locks into place. Sounds like you finally got it in the right position. As noted above there are several videos discussing this problem. Look closely at the picture in your manual to see the correct orientation.

I had similar issues when i took mine apart whem i first got it. Thought i broke it somehow. Dont know what i did, however it was like yours, it just stayed together. Never had any issues since.
