Just when I was thinking of getting a rimfire bolt action, you made your series on the Ruger bolt action rimfire... and then I bought one.
Lately I have been thinking of an inexpensive ar style 9mm, and here you are again. I am trying to resist... But who am I kidding, I'll be buying one eventually.

Long ago (20 years maybe?) I ran a full on rifle match, several stages with targets from zero to 300, with a Calico 9mm and Aimpoint 2000. Friend helped me load some max-OAL, max pressure, 147s and it was stout enough that the guys in the pits called up to ask what the hell was being shot at them. Did the math and I had my holdovers, but 10 feet is a hell of a thing to eyeball.
Whiffed one stage pretty good, but otherwise it went very well. And, I got to be that guy.

Took my 4" PCC to 400yds yesterday with a red dot. Not so good.

Hey Elster, thanks for all the great videos. I watched your RRA videos and ended up with a RRA Varmint. Haven't had it out to the range yet since it's been in gunsmith jail for awhile waiting to get the muzzle threaded. Also just got my nephew a FM pistol lower and a FM 9mm 8.5" upper after seeing your videos. I put a better trigger in there and also put a PA 1-8x24 scope on there for him which is pretty similar to the Strike Eagle you're using. Oh, and I also put on the same pistol brace you recommend. We'll test it at the range on Monday. Going to compare it to my CMMG Guard 9mm pistol. Should be fun.
