In the grand scheme of things, literally no one gives a shit we lost a drone or that it was damaged. Also, any support for Ukraine is already at an all time low. No one really wants to go to war, directly, with Russia. No one actually gives a shit about Ukraine. It's a 0 sum game. Even if you win....then what?

Hell I'm more outraged by the fact we're still giving them fucking money more than anything. They can all blow each other up and die in a fire and I basically wouldn't care.

We have a higher chance of going to war with Ukraine in 20 years than we do with Russia at this point.

I cannot see any pilot intentionally putting a part of his aircraft into a spinning propeller of another aircraft.

If in fact that really did happen or did the reaper pilot make a mistake and strike the Russian aircraft.

Flanker pilot decides to buzz the drone too close and hits it's propeller with the rear tail fin.

To be fair, the SU-27 first urinated jet fuel on the drone to establish dominance. Then he(?) somehow dinged the drone's propeller without crashing his plane in the process.

Dunno if the Reaper has Tesla-like cameras all around, if they do, or if there was a fighter escort lurking nearby that didn't want to mix it up but had eyes on it, we may see video.

Supposedly we had enough control to crash it outside territorial waters.

Wonder if they jerry-rigged something like a long pole and duct-taped it to the probe to get a little breathing room? Either way, messing with the prop in front of you would be a good way to get FOD in those big gaping air intakes. Maybe he tried to nudge it's wing and flip it over like an Orca does with a shark?

Russia is saying there was no contact with the drone. They didnt fire on it and didnt ram it. THe Pentagon is whining that the Russians acted in an un-environmentally friednly manner by dumping jet fuel on it. I am absolutely serious. I found this very ironic seeing as how it was almost certainly Navy divers who blew up the Nordstream pipelines and filled the baltic sea with natural gas. We're led by fucking idiots.

Russia admits dumping the jet fuel but is claiming that the drone took evasive maneuvers and lost control and "went into unguided flight with a loss of altitude and collided with the waters surface."
